VISA information

We recommend that foreign nationals obtain a conference visa to enter India. Details of the visa application procedure are available on the following webpage.

https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/

The visa application must be accompanied by an invitation letter, approval for the event from the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), and a clearance letter from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India. Approval from the DAE requires an approximate estimate of the number of foreign participants. Meanwhile, MEA clearance letter necessitates a copy of the front page of your passport and the form Annex II. In this regard, please complete the following steps:

Pre-registration

  • Pre-register for the conference by providing your details, including your name, affiliation etc., on the Indico page as soon as possible. Please note that pre-registration represents a tentative commitment only and does not require payment of the registration fee.
  • As part of the pre-registration procedure, send the following documents to radcor25 [AT] niser.ac.in
    • A copy of the front page of your passport
    • The filled-up form (Annex II which can be downloaded from the 'Overview' page).

In this email, kindly inform us if you require any additional documents for your visa application, such as a tailored invitation letter.

  • Once we receive these details, we will proceed to obtain the DAE approval and the clearance letter from the MEA, India, and will notify you upon receipt. This process is expected to take approximately six weeks. Therefore, we request that you complete the pre-registration at your earliest convenience.

Registration

  • Upon receipt of both documents, you may proceed with your application for a conference visa to enter India. At the same time, you can complete the final registration, which includes paying the registration fee, submitting talk details, and providing information regarding hotel booking. By completing the final registration process, participants confirm their commitment
